2011 Summer Software Training Sessions
There is a wealth of knowledge that can be gained from the data you are collecting in the field. Questions can range from the simple questions of “How many acres did I plant of each hybrid? or “What days was I in the field planting?”, to the more complex ones of “How much of a yield hit did I get from planting my seed too deep or shallow?” or “Was there a benefit of applying a certain fungicide to the field?”
As I mentioned in my previous post, we have added the SMS Training and Resources page to our website. In case you haven’t had a chance to look it over, I wanted to make everyone aware that we recently announced our training dates for SMS software products on this site.
As in the past, we will have classroom style trainings for SMS Basic, SMS Advanced and SMS Mobile. At these trainings, members of the Ag Leader Software Team will visit different areas and provide computers and training manuals to walk you through the most commonly used tools to help you get the most out of your desktop and/or mobile software.
Don’t have time to take off to go to a training? We’ve got you covered there as well. We offer several online training sessions that cover one or two topics at a time in a 60-90 minute timeframe that you can do from the comfort of your home or office.
Starting in July, we are beginning our free “Introduction to SMS Software” webinars. These webinars are geared toward new users and anyone who would like a refresher course. We will walk you through the most common questions new users have about the SMS Software. Our first sessions will be on SMS Basic, but we will be adding sessions for SMS Advanced and SMS Mobile soon. Registration for these webinars are all web-based, so you can easily register from the SMS Training Resources page at any time of day from your home or office computer.
Best of luck to everyone with your field work and hopefully we’ll see you at a training this summer.
