What’s Coming in SMS Basic/Advanced v12.0

In the near future, we will be releasing SMS Basic/Advanced v12.0 and SMS Mobile v6.0.  I wanted to take some time this week to let everyone know about a few of the items that will be included in this upcoming release. Among the updates in SMS Basic/Advanced Version 12.0, we have updated tools that allow you to work with the latest file formats on the market from the following precision farming companies:  Ag Leader, CNH, John Deere, Precision Planting, RDS, and Trimble.

We have also added a tool that allows for the exporting of your information to your crop insurance provider. This includes information like dates planted, crop planted, and acres planted. If you would like to use the information collected by your precision farming displays to help report to your crop insurance agent, contact our software support team for this free tool after you have updated to SMS Basic/Advanced v12.0. It may also be advantageous to know that some insurance agents find it useful to see a “Summary Report” from SMS.  You can generate this type report by going to File – New – General Report in SMS Basic/Advanced. This report will include the needed information for your agent, like date planted, crop planted and acres.
